The YCB marine arc gear pump is designed for conveying lubricating oil or other liquids with properties similar to lubricating oil. It is suitable for clean, non-corrosive media without solid particles or fibers, with a temperature not higher than 80°C and viscosity from 5 to 1500 cSt.
This marine gear pump can be used as a transfer pump or booster pump in oil transportation systems. In fuel oil systems, it can serve as a fuel transfer, pressure boosting, or injection pump. It can also be used as a hydraulic pump in hydraulic transmission systems or as a lubricating oil pump in general industrial applications.
The YCB marine arc gear pump mainly consists of gears, shafts, pump body, relief valve, and shaft-end seal. The gears are heat-treated to obtain higher hardness and strength, and they operate together with the shafts inside replaceable shaft sleeves. During operation, internal parts are automatically lubricated by the conveyed medium.
The pump is designed with oil drain and return grooves to reduce torque load during gear operation. This helps reduce bearing load and wear while supporting efficient pump operation.
A built-in relief valve is provided for overload protection. The full return pressure of the relief valve is 1.5 times the rated discharge pressure of the pump. The relief valve may also be adjusted within the allowable discharge pressure range according to actual operating requirements. However, the relief valve should not be used as a long-term pressure reducing valve. If pressure reduction is required, a separate pressure reducing valve should be installed in the pipeline.
