The YCB circular arc gear pump is suitable for transferring lubricating oil and other liquids with properties similar to lubricating oil. The medium should be non-corrosive, free of solid particles and fibers, with temperature not higher than 80°C and viscosity from 5 to 1500 cSt.

The pump can be used in oil transfer systems as a transfer pump or booster pump, in fuel systems for delivery, pressurization, and injection service, in hydraulic transmission systems as a hydraulic power pump, and in industrial systems as a lubrication oil pump.

Structure & Working Features

The YCB series gear pump mainly consists of gears, shaft, pump body, pump cover, bearing sleeves, and shaft-end sealing components. The gears are manufactured with a double circular arc and sine-curve tooth profile.

Compared with involute gears, this tooth profile helps reduce relative sliding on the meshing tooth surfaces during operation. This supports smooth running, low noise, reduced tooth surface wear, long service life, and good efficiency.

The pump is equipped with a protection valve for overload protection. The full return pressure of the protection valve is 1.5 times the rated discharge pressure of the pump, and it may also be adjusted within the allowable discharge pressure range according to actual requirements. This protection valve should not be used as a pressure-reducing valve for long-term operation; a separate pressure-reducing valve should be installed in the pipeline when required.

The shaft-end seal is available in two forms: mechanical seal and packing seal. The sealing structure can be selected according to the operating conditions and user requirements. Viewed from the extended end of the main shaft toward the pump, the standard rotation direction is clockwise.
