The pump is available in ordinary material and cast steel material versions, both with an insulation jacket. Before startup, preheating the pump can help reduce starting power when handling viscous or solidifying media.

Structure & Working Features

The pump body of the RCB asphalt high-viscosity pump is equipped with a hollow jacket and inlet/outlet flanges for heat-transfer media. Thermal oil, steam, hot water, or similar media can be used to heat, insulate, or cool the transferred liquid and the pump.

The pump can be driven by direct motor coupling or by a reducer. When the liquid viscosity exceeds 1500 cSt, reducer drive should be used to support stable operation.

Applicable Media

The RCB asphalt high-viscosity pump is suitable for transferring corrosive or non-corrosive liquids, liquids with higher sanitary requirements, and liquids without solid particles. The medium temperature should not be higher than 350°C, and the viscosity range is 5 to 1500 cSt.
