The NYP high-viscosity insulated rotor pump is suitable for transferring a wide range of viscous media. The applicable medium temperature is from -10°C to 150°C, and the applicable viscosity range is from 1.0 cSt to 300,000 cSt.

The pump can be used in petroleum, chemical, coating, grease, pharmaceutical, dye, food, and other industries. Typical media include fatty acids, alkaline substances, caustic soda, soda water, polymers, soap, shampoo, animal fat, vegetable oil, chocolate, and other special fluids.

Structure & Working Features

The NYP high-viscosity rotor pump mainly consists of inner and outer rotors, shaft, pump body, pump cover, bracket, seal, bearings, and related components. The outer rotor drives the inner rotor to rotate in the same direction, helping reduce wear and extend service life under suitable operating conditions.

The pump speed and flow rate have an approximately linear relationship, so the flow rate can be adjusted by changing the pump speed. The pump is especially suitable for high-viscosity media transfer. A mechanical seal is normally used at the shaft end to help reduce leakage.

Adjustable Clearance Design

The NYP high-viscosity insulated rotor pump can adjust gear clearance according to viscosity requirements without disassembling the pump. The integrated bearing housing allows clearance adjustment by rotating the bearing housing, making operation simple and avoiding removal of pump components.

After long-term operation and wear, the internal pump clearance can be adjusted by rotating the bearing housing and adjustment bolts. This helps restore pumping performance without dismantling the pump.
