The NCB internal gear pump operates on the internal gear meshing principle. The pitch circles of the inner and outer gears are close to each other on one side, while the other side is separated by a crescent plate. The gears rotate in the same direction, helping avoid trapped liquid during operation.

This pump features a compact and well-designed structure, small size, large flow capacity, low noise, and long service life under suitable operating conditions. It is suitable for transferring a wide range of liquids, from light and volatile liquids to heavy, viscous, and even semi-solid media.

Working Principle & Structure

The NCB internal gear pump uses an inner gear, outer gear, crescent separator, pump body, shaft, seal, and related components to form a positive displacement transfer structure. As the inner and outer gears rotate in the same direction, the medium is drawn into the expanding cavity and carried around the crescent separator. When the gear teeth mesh again, the cavity volume decreases and the medium is discharged from the outlet.

The internal gear structure supports smooth transfer, low pulsation, and steady operation, making the pump suitable for high-viscosity and difficult-flow media under proper operating conditions.
