The LB Series Refrigeration Gear Pump is specially engineered to handle various mechanical oils, turbine oils, and other lubricating fluids with a viscosity between 5 to 1500 cSt (up to 200°E). It is designed to transfer clean media without solid particles or corrosive fibers, operating safely at temperatures up to 80°C (with specific configurations allowing up to 120°C). Thanks to its reliable performance, it serves widely as a transfer and booster pump in piping systems, a pressurization and injection pump in fuel systems, and a dedicated lubrication pump across diverse industrial sectors.
At the core of the LB Series is its cutting-edge dual circular-arc sine curve tooth profile, representing an optimal engineering standard. Compared to traditional involute gears, this unique profile ensures there is no relative sliding during the meshing process. This eliminates tooth surface wear, guarantees balanced rotation, and prevents fluid trapping, which ultimately results in exceptionally low noise, high efficiency, and an extended service life.
Features & Advantages
Built to break free from conventional design constraints, the LB Series delivers the following operational advantages:
- Zero Wear & Low Noise Operation: The optimized dual circular-arc gear profile ensures smooth, balanced running without trapped fluid phenomena, significantly extending the pump’s lifespan while maintaining a quiet work environment.
- Integrated Overload Protection: The pump is equipped with a differential pressure safety valve set at 1.5 times the rated discharge pressure. While the valve can be fine-tuned within the allowable range according to specific needs, it ensures the pump and motor are protected against unexpected system blockages. (Note: The safety valve is for emergency protection only and should not be used as a long-term pressure reducing valve.)
- Versatile Application Capabilities: Its stable performance makes it highly adaptable, whether acting as a primary fuel injection pump or a supplementary booster pump in complex industrial configurations.
- Customizable Sealing Solutions: The shaft end seal is designed in two configurations—mechanical seal and packing seal—allowing users to select the most suitable option based on their specific operating conditions and maintenance preferences.
