The KCB series gear pump is designed for transferring clean oil media such as heavy oil, diesel oil, mechanical oil, vegetable oil, and other similar liquids. The medium should be non-corrosive and free of hard particles, impurities, and fibers.

According to the supplied operating range, this pump is suitable for media with viscosity not greater than 150 mm²/s and temperature not higher than 20°C. It is mainly used for oil transfer, pressure boosting, fuel injection, thin oil circulation in large mechanical equipment, and lubrication service in various machinery systems.

Structure & Configuration

The KCB series gear pump consists of the pump body, front and rear pump covers, gears, driving and driven shafts, bearings, valve, shaft-end seal, and related components.

The pump uses helical cylindrical gears as the main transmission gears. Depending on the model and configuration, the valve structure may be direct-acting or differential type. The full series of gear oil pump units is connected to the motor through a three-jaw elastic coupling.

The pump features a simple and compact structure, convenient operation and maintenance, smooth running, and stable service performance.

Operation & Maintenance Notes

During installation, the long shaft of the KCB gear pump should be properly aligned with the coupling. The two shafts should be installed with correct concentricity.

The oil pipeline should be cleaned after installation to prevent impurities from entering the pump body during startup and scratching or damaging internal pump parts.

If the pump body becomes overheated during operation, the pump should be stopped immediately for inspection and troubleshooting.

After the KCB gear pump has been used for a period of time, the lubricating oil should be cleaned and replaced as required.

A standby gear pump should be coated with oil, and the inlet and outlet ports should be properly sealed for storage.
