The I-1B series screw pump for thick slurry is a single-screw positive displacement rotary pump. It uses an eccentric single-helical screw rotating inside a double-helical liner to push thick slurry along the spiral groove from the suction port to the discharge port.

The I-1B series screw pump provides stable flow with low pulsation, low agitation, and low shear. Flow is proportional to speed and can be adjusted through a speed change mechanism or speed-regulating motor.
The pump has good self-priming capability and can directly draw liquid without a foot valve. It can also operate in reverse, allowing the liquid flow direction to change according to the pump rotation direction. This makes it suitable for pipeline systems that require forward and reverse flushing.
