The CB-B hydraulic gear pump is a conversion device that converts mechanical energy into hydraulic energy. It is widely used in hydraulic systems for machine tools and construction machinery as a hydraulic power source. It can also be used as a lubrication pump or oil transfer pump.
The CB-B series can be designed and manufactured according to actual operating requirements. Duplex, triplex, and multi-section pump configurations are available. The pump sections are strictly separated to prevent oil crossover, and each pump can operate independently. This structure is especially suitable for lubrication systems in textile machinery.
Installation & Operation Notes
For connection between the pump shaft and motor, an elastic coupling should be used. The concentricity should be within 0.1 mm, and the coupling should rotate by hand without excessive tightness or uneven resistance.
When the pump shaft is connected with a bore, the fit clearance between the pump shaft and bore should be 0.02–0.03 mm. Forced hammering is not allowed, as it may cause the pump shaft to jam.
The inlet pipe diameter should match the pump inlet requirement and should not restrict oil intake. The inlet pipeline should be as short as possible with minimal bends. The outlet pipe diameter should not be less than three-fourths of the inlet pipe diameter. Before installation, the inner wall of the pipeline should be cleaned with high-pressure oil, and hard particles or debris must be removed. A filter should be installed on the inlet pipe, and the filter flow capacity should be twice the pump flow rate. All joints on the inlet pipeline must be well sealed to prevent air leakage.
Before operation, jog the motor to confirm that the pump rotation direction is the same as the arrow shown on the nameplate. After startup, check that the inlet and outlet pressures are within the specified operating pressure range of the pump. During operation, observe whether the pump produces abnormal noise or overheating. If either occurs, stop the pump and inspect it.
Features & Advantages
- Hydraulic Energy Conversion: Converts mechanical energy into hydraulic energy for hydraulic system power supply.
- Wide Equipment Compatibility: Suitable for machine tools, construction machinery, and related hydraulic systems.
- Lubrication & Oil Transfer Use: Can also be used as a lubrication pump or oil transfer pump.
- Multi-Section Options: Duplex, triplex, or multi-section pump designs are available according to application requirements.

Important Precautions
This pump series is not suitable for transferring highly volatile liquids or liquids with a low flash point, such as alcohol or benzene.
The pump must not be operated in reverse rotation. If a reverse-rotation pump is required, this should be specified when ordering. The reverse-rotation model is marked as the CB-B**F series cycloidal gear oil pump.
