The 2CY stainless steel gear pump is mainly used in lubrication systems of machinery and industrial equipment. It is suitable for transferring lubricating oil and similar lubricating liquids with viscosity from 5 to 1500 cSt and temperature below 240°C.

This stainless steel gear pump can also be used for certain non-lubricating liquids, beverages, and low-corrosive liquids, according to the source material. When equipped with copper gears, it may be used for low-flash-point liquids such as gasoline and benzene under suitable operating conditions.

In oil transfer systems, the 2CY stainless steel gear pump can be used as a transfer pump or booster pump. In fuel oil systems, it can be used for fuel delivery and pressurizing service. In various industrial applications, it can also serve as a lubricating oil pump.

The pump mainly consists of gears, shafts, pump body, valve, and shaft-end seal. The gears are heat-treated for higher hardness and strength, and they operate together with the shafts inside replaceable shaft sleeves. During operation, all internal pump parts are automatically lubricated by the conveyed medium.

The pump is designed with oil drain and return grooves to reduce torque load during gear operation. This helps reduce bearing load and wear while supporting efficient operation.

The 2CY stainless steel gear pump is equipped with a valve for overload protection. The full return pressure of the valve is 1.5 times the rated discharge pressure of the pump. It may also be adjusted within the allowable discharge pressure range according to actual requirements. However, this valve should not be used as a long-term pressure reducing valve. If pressure reduction is required, a separate pressure reducing valve should be installed in the pipeline.

Viewed from the shaft extension end, the pump rotates clockwise.
